April 10, 2007 - First posting

We have decided to start a blog for our family. We thought this would be a fun way to share pictures and stories from our lives with our friends and family. We hope more people will start a blog so that we can all stay better connected.
We just celebrated Easter in Byron with Chad's parents Curt and Gloria. We had a great weekend and Owen loved getting to know his grandparents better. Owen met the Easter bunny while at Easter brunch. We thought he'd be afraid, but instead his poked the eyes and the nose of the bunny!

A few weeks ago we were enjoying the nice sunny 70 degree weather and today we are experiencing a few inches of snow. I hope my tulips survive! Isn't South Dakota weather interesting!

Chad and I have both made the decision to return to school this fall. I will be going back to Augustana for nursing and Chad will pursue a degree in elementary education. We should both be able to complete our new degrees in two years. It will be an interesting two years as we both try to juggle parenthood, classes, and work.
